hold your burn under cold water while slowly turning the water to very warm very slowly hard to do but if you can it helps alot.
also i was told to use any white tooth paste to help alleviate the pain but have not had the chance to try it out thank goodness.
my favorite but costly solution is the burn gels with silver in them really healed a very bad burn of the back of my hand in which y skin turned gooey blech but now i can barely tell it was there. i also used vitamin e oil and coconut oil after it had healed up a bit

I hope you were able to sleep after burning your hand.
I have found that running the burn under cold water helps the most.  Then adding a cold compress to it as needed helps with the pain.
Don't use ice though...you don't want to restrict blood flow to the area.

Run it under cold water, I always do that and then I try and use something like vaseline to prevent scarring. Hope you were able to sleep.

Thanks for all the advice. It turned out OK. I was able to sleep.  :moon: I put some Neosporin on it & bandaged it. It doesn't hurt too much at this point.

Oh I'm so sorry for your pain, One time for Thanks Giving I burnt my hand trying to move the turkey. It was a second degree burn. It hurt so much and took for ever to heal. I still have the scar and it's been 7 years now.

I hate it when I burn myself cooking!  I need to buy new potholders.  All of mine are wearing thin or have been on fire!
Have a wonderful day!

I burned my hand one time really bad, a friend rushed home and cut a  big aloa leaf in half and put it on my hand.  Oh the reliife felt great and in a couple of days the burn was just a pink color on the inside of my hand. But my son was not so lucky. He poured boiling water into a glass pitcher and it burst, He poor privates were burned badly.  I had to take him to t It was a he hospital
where they treated him.  He could only wear satin boxer shorts and PJ's for about 2 weeks.  It was not a happy Christmas for him.

Cold water. Also try a potato skin to hold it on the spot where you burned yourself. Hope you feel better soon.

Colloidal Silver!!!  Works so good people might have trouble believing it if they didn't see it/experience it.  Make sure to get 50 ppm(parts per million)
