I heard about it,  and on the radio Today I heard that Nintendo has already made 7 million dollars from it, or the company has gained 7 million.

Wondering how long this trend will run?  I have yet to see anyone chasing Pokemon characters out there, but don't want to trip over any of them.  We certainly have enough distractions, don't we?

This app has definitely swept over the nation! Lol. I do not play it myself but it is all over the news, my facebook feed, everywhere. I was at Kroger the other day and there were adults behind me looking for pokemon. And today I was walking my dog around this school in my neighborhood, there was a car that kept circling around me and it made me very nervous. They get out and start taking about pokemon. Turns out that's all they were doing.

In the report I heard on the radio about it this morning, the person being interviewed talked about how much more walking and exercise the app was going to generate as people tried to chase those buggers around. It sounds  to me, though, like it can become a very addictive game and a huge time/gasoline waster.

Well, I'm 30 years old and play Pokemon GO, and have no shame in it cause that was my childhood! It's a pretty fun game, and I am enjoying it, but I'm not addicted to it like some people are. All I keep hearing about is people who crash their cars cause they are playing while driving, or people who get hurt crossing the street cause they are too busy looking at their phones. The game even has a disclaimer in the loading screen stating to watch out and be aware of surroundings. I guess some people just don't heed those warnings.

My wife and son play it. They have a great time looking for things. If you are familiar with geocaching, this is pretty similar. In fact you can pretty much say that this whole game experience is just one big scavenger hunt. It was smart to release it in the summer allowing people to take advantage of the summer weather and enjoy being outdoors.

YES! We had a kid walk up in our yard doing it. We had no clue who the kid was and came very close to calling police. I think it's dangerous.

I've heard a little rave and rant about this. Seems to be the talk of the day.
