Time Warp

My kids are grown, my grand-kids are almost all grown, and my great-grandson is a toddler.

I just realzed today there are school supplies on the shelves, and folks are starting to buy them to keep it financially manageable.  I remember doing that through the generations. Not for a while now.

Yet here I am, not thinking fall at all. I am in the garden.  Blossoms on the tomato plants, broccoli heads full throttle, zucchini to be picked, and snow peas on their final show.

For me it is mid-summer. Weather too hot, and garden needs tending.  Fall seems far away.

Personally, what I would give to be driving grand-kids to school for their dad.

Maybe if/when my great grandson and his mommy move back. We shall see

Thank God for the garden. A good place to spend the summer

I can't get out in the sun like I used to. I really enjoyed gardening. My grandkids the oldest just turning 10 and the youngest turned 2. Scary that is.

I spend a lot of time in garden as well. But we got 6 inches of rain overnight, so I won't be out there for a couple days.  I go back to babysitting after school in the fall.
