We own two dogs which were both rescued.  One is a 6 year old Boxer named Brutus and the other is a four year old Beagle named Lilly. Love 'em both to death, although the Beagle can be quite yappy and the Boxer quite gassy!

Overall, my favorite would have to be :dog:.  I've always had one from the time I was born. Over the years, though, I have also had a  :cat:, lizards, Royal Pythons, Mini-Lop :bunny:, and  :fish:.

We have two cats that were both adopted, one from a rescue shelter. We also have a dog, a 6 month old chihuahua. He is so much fun! He is full grown at 3 1/2 pounds LOL. I love all my babies, but the pup is a lot more fun.

I have A LOT of pets.  My family does wildlife rescue, rehab & release...  There are always pets coming in that are abandoned or hurt and we help them out.  Some are rehomed and some stay with us forever.

My personal pets are 2 ferrets, a couple of cats and a frog.   :cat:

I used to have dogs but they all died of old age and I don't want to get a puppy until my child is older.  I do miss having a dog~!

I have fish, hermit crabs, 2 parakeets (Star & Moon) 1 cockatiel (Shane) 1 rabbit (Ruby) 2 dogs, cockerspaniel (Maggie) & mini pinscher (Lily)

Our cockerspaniel was flown in from out of state & some guy came up to us in the airport & took her out of the crate & named her Maggie....LOL!! I still think that's funny.

I have three dogs, all rescued from SPCA or other rescue group.  Our most recent adoption was Scooter.  He is three years old, miniature dachsund (who thinks his is a big, big dog) and had three vertebrae broken in his back.  The previous "pet parents" took him to the vet to have him put to sleep; however, the Vet knew about a local Dachsund Rescue Society and called them.  He donated his time and surgical skills and corrected the back injury.  We got Scooter at a local pet store we just happened to be visiting to purchase a stuffed dog for my jack russell, there he was.  It was love at first site.  We came home with the stuffed dog we went to purchase, Scooter, and a welcoming package for Scooter.  My other dog is a dachsund beagle mix.  She is red like a dachsund, sort of long like a dachsund, but everything else is beagle.  She has the "howl".

We have 2 dogs and 1 cat...  technically.  However there is a stray cat who thinks she can come in the backyard whenever she wants to.  :)  My favorite animal would have to be dogs, but BIG dogs.  Those little ones are too squeeky for me.  :)
