Gas Prices > Do you think Gas Prices will pay a major part in the election? - Here in Indiana Gas Prices have climbed as high as $3.00/per gallon and that's alot to swallow when you have to travel to and from work. What I want to know is: a) what is your gas price where you live? b) how do you save money on gas and c) does it make a difference to drive one car or two cars in your family?

Do you have kids who have cars, how do you handle that?

Not really, I'm surprised gas is only $2.09 here. Last summer it was $3.50.

Right now gas is a little over $2 in MN... Considering that prices have been close to $5 a few years ago, I doubt that gas will even create a blip in the election. Gas is cheap this year; not sure why Indiana's gas is going up so high....

Gas prices do matter all the time. Anybody could get broke from overpriced fuel.

Gas prices keep going down here in Tennessee. I'm not sure why. There is usually price gouging... I think it has something to do with Saudia Arabia and their oil reserves.

I don't think they will have any effect if they don't take a huge jump, they have been pretty stable around here at around $2.35 a gallon for regular.

I honestly do not believe that gas prices will pay a big part in the election. To me it seems like there are other topics that have been up for debate more then gas prices.

Here in Michigan gas prices have been relatively inexpensive for quite some time.  There are so many other issues that affect the nation as a whole that I don't believe gas prices will play little, if any, part in this election.  The only way they would play a part in an election is if they skyrocketed and was part of an overall economic problem.

Nope, gas somehow is not really that high right now. It's going to come down to who do you think lies the least.... Donald Trump.... I'm not voting since I'm in a red state that always votes GOP, like 75% or so... Democrats don't win Presidential electorates here.
