Do You Like Graham Crackers?

Yes I do but I don't like that most of them have HFCS instead of cane sugar.  Oh well it is possible to find them but I used to like to get the bags of the graham cracker crumbs to make pie crusts.

I have some at home that I never eat even though I do like them.

When I go to my son's house and feed his bird graham crackers, I eat some.

My mom, many many years ago....when graham crackers tasted so much better than they do now.....made sandwiches of them filled with home-made vanilla frosting.

Put in the fridge for a while to let the frosting soak in. Amazing. 

Frosting and the crackers are not really the same now, but it was a great treat....like the old vanilla wafers that tasted like real vanilla. Lined in a glass casserole dish, layered with real whipped cream, kept in freezer for several hours.....

Oh those old recipes!

 

I love graham crackers and I agree with you, they don't taste as good as they did years ago.  Not sure why but I certainly can tell the difference.  Same with vanilla wafers.  But I still love to snack on both of them.
