do you go to fireworks shows

we do we go to the beach and watch them off the boats they are so pretty i just hate the traffic but we always make it a day

My family and I do not attend firework shows. We shoot them off at home, and with all the recent attacks in the US at major gathering places, we are definitely not going this year. Simply because with fireworks going off it would make it complicated to distinguish if it was fireworks or gun shots.

No, i havent in years. So many people and parking, etc... just seems a hassle. We can see some from our back deck some years, so that is cool.

Don't go, hate the crowds and parking.  We can see them really good from our back yard.

We go to the fireworks at our local town park. There is usually a crowd getting out but we manage.

Boring, lame, and dangerous.  Might be good entertainment for kids but too much hassle for adults.

I haven't been to a fireworks show in a very long time...I always end up having to work at night. So I think this is the first year (in about 15 years) that I'll be able to go out and do something for the 4th.

I don't. However, I feel like the obnoxious neighborhoods who keep lightning fireworks deep into the night should do that.

I live in the country and don't get out too much...i also care for dogs so it's important they feel safe on this night. If neighbors do fireworks I'll enjoy them but pretty much avoid crowds...

my husband and son usually go but I can't handle the crowds anymore.  there are always people shooting them off in the neighborhood though if I really want to see some

We get a condo on the beach so we can walk to see them, then drive home the next day to miss the crowds.

We used to go to local fireworks every year religiously when our kids were small because they enjoyed it so tremendously much. But now that they are grown up and out of the house, we don't feel like facing the parking and crowd situation at the fireworks any more. We just watch them on TV which is a poor substitute, for sure, but OK for us.

No.  I live by Disneyland & Knott's, I pretty much see multiple firework shows nightly...

We're doing a family gathering, & doing fireworks in front of the house
