Yes we are still hurting from the economy. Like  many other people, if we couldn't afford something, we just put it on credit. So now we are struggling to pay the credit card off. It is better than it was, but we still have a long way to go. We are careful to pay towards to card which charges the highest interest first, and then leave the inexpensive cards until last. That was a hard lesson learned for our household.

Definitely yes. Is it as bad as 5 years ago? No, but there's still such a long way to go before anyone can ever say that they are living comfortably. I fear by the time I can say that it will be too late.

In 2008 my family got hit really hard - I became disabled right before the economic downturn then in 2013 my husband died and the loss of his income hit us again really hard.  Little by little things have improved and I hope and pray they will  continue to improve - not just for myself but all of us.

A little over 8 years ago, there was a cross-the-board 11% pay cut; they decided to do the paycut instead of letting people go. However a few years after that, they still ended up letting people go. As I am still waiting for my wages to go back to what they once were, I'd have to say that it has been very terrible.

I lost my job in 2010 and because of my age, couldn't find another one. In 2012 was my surgery for MFH sarcoma 6 months before i qualified for Medicare...and was refused Medicaid (still trying to figure that one out!). I was forced to take early SS.
Hubby forced to retire in 2014 because of federal regulations for CDL (he had open heart surgery 10 years ago) and he refused to go through all the testing necessary to keep working because he knew someone else that had the same problem and he jumped through hoops for a year to keep his CDL. He was forced to take early SS even though he only had 6 months to go for his full SS.

Are we better off? Heck no (stronger language not allowed!). We are living on $900 a month after Medicare, the supplement, and Rx supplement plus the insurances (car, life, home), taxes for the privilege to breath, have property, etc., etc.  Thank heavens we could cut down on groceries. I used to spend $130 every week and we're now down to $100-150 a month (depending on sales and how much meat we need to buy).

I'd say anyone using their time on FusionCash is hurting from the economy... You could make that monthly FC check faster by having a lemonade stand on the weekend...

I thought things were getting better but it seems to be heading back down again.   I was hoping it would change but, not looking so good with cut back on my hours and cutting back on people at work.  Doing more getting paid the same.

I use my time on Fusioncash, because I enjoy it a LOT more than I would running a lemonade stand. As far as the economy, thanks to the supplement I get from the Internet, I am doing better than I ever did when I had a full time job. All I need to worry about is Hillary getting in and screwing up my Social Security or Medicare.

I can't really say because I don't work, and my household has been blessed enough not to have been hit so hard by it, but maybe I'll be singing a different tune once I'm working and have moved out. lol

This isn't necessarily true for everyone.    I started FC when I was injured & I was recovering... at home and bored.  It was so easy then to earn.  Now that I am back to work, I still like to read my horoscope & the entertainment section on the ptc.   I like the discussion boards, like reading frugal tips.   I cash out about once every 3 months.   I don't play internet games, or do facebook, so I just take a break from work & go on FC.     I would never have started FC now in my life, but back then I had so much free time & mobility challenged, & it was a new experience, it takes very little time to earn.   I also do bing, I don't need the $ just a way to keep up with news  AND it is so easy to earn.   :)
