Has anyone seen the new Halloween movie?

My brother and I are both huge Micheal Myers fans and we both loved Rob Zombies first one, but the preview for the new one does not make it look that good (did I see his mom?).  Has anyone seen it yet?  Is it any good?

No, but they had a marathon of the Michael Myers movies on that one channel TCa or something

I didn't know there was one. But that could be because I don't watch them since they creap me out. Even the Nightmare Before Christmas was a bit out there for me but I love it.

From other posts that i have seen there have been people who liked it. Ive seen the last couple of years of scary movies so i expect it to be gory and violent. If i get to see it in the next couple of days i will post an update...

I really want to see it, my husband is a huge horror movie fan, so I end up watching a lot of horror movies.  I havent heard anything yet though
