I realized that I had calculated my income wrong, so am answering correctly now. Will this affect my trust score?

how much of a difference is there?  When did you make the mistake -- was it when you filled out your FC profile or was it when you took a survey or several surveys?

I do not remember having a trust score -- where on FC is our trust score?

It was for the first several days. I corrected my FC profile I was off by 20000/ yr. not sure if that's a lot or not? It isn't called a trust score here, I realize now. But it's the number that pops up when you're doing surveys that goes up or down if you answer the control questions correctly?

You said $20,000 a year. Is that correct? If so, that is quite a difference. I would open a support ticket and report this error to FC otherwise you might be seen as lying and get bumped off the site permanently.

You might have some of your survey payments revoked because of the error.

The only thing I can think of that is somewhat similar to that is with the Crowdflower tasks. There is nothing related to that with surveys on here. Are you thinking about something on another site

There's a similar thing called "quality score" on Your Surveys. If it asks the next time, you just answer with the correct one. People's income change from time to time, and that's normal.

Household incomes change all the time.  People get fired or hired.  Change of jobs and salaries. People will work 2 jobs and then go to just one.  If someone had 3 teenagers getting summer jobs that changes household incomes.  Also add in marriage/divorce and other living arrangements changes.  I would think appropriate to update profile to reflect current situation.  The same as if someone just had a baby and the household size changed.

I completely underestimated my own income. Went on net and have huge amounts paid out. Plus didn't include what I get from my ex.. Plus forgot about the cash back I receive monthly. I'm not including my mileage. Because I didn't think I should?

How do you compute annual income?

To be easier on yourself, just round the amounts to the nearest 1000 and add that up. You don't have to add every little bit of income you get, just add the main wages and general income; they aren't asking for all your detailed income information for tax audits, lol.

It's really just for classification purposes along with the other demographics like age, gender, ethnicity, etc. How someone who's in the 20 k income range would probably have different purchasing habits and opinions on things than someone making 6 figures.

Easiest way to "compute" income is to use last years taxes.  As said above it is just for classification/demographics purposes.
