we had a bad storm last evening. A pot broke out in the front yard.
we lost power for a few hours.
a neighbor told me she was doing errands about an hour away.
she was glad she decided to skip one errand and return home.
otherwise, she would have gotten stuck on the road in the middle of it somewhere.

I hate bad storms, especially when the power goes out.

We haven't had any real severe weather where I'm at so far this summer. I know a couple hours away had a tornado. My friend and her husband are storm chasers so they live for severe weather.

I got really wind last night and cooled off about 15 degrees which was nice.

It has been a raining spring here in Illinois so far.
Hard to keep the yard mowed its been so wet.
