June 1 and it feels like the middle of July.  Already hot and humid.  Love summer time but as I get older the heat is getting to me more.  Don't like having to run the air conditioner so much but it's necessary.  I think it's more the humidity that the actual temperature.   The heat causes me to be more of a recluse.   Would love a trip to the beach.

Wow we got 2 and a 1/2 inches of rain starting last nigh May 31st and this morning June 1st, It wa for the most part a slow gentle rain. And our dry country really needed it. It all soaked into the ground . My garden won't need any watering for a few days nor my lawn.
