No.  I generally follow a meal plan, where I eat "clean" & eat a bunch of small meals throughout the day, & then periodically have cheat days where I eat whatever I want.   My stomach has shrunk so much in the years of following this routine that I cannot consume a lot of food at one time... unfortunately, some days I would like to pig out, esp at buffets & souplantation, but just am not physically able.  :(

No, just try to eat as healthy as possible when I'm home,  lots of veggies, fruit and plenty of water.  Had plenty of calories this weekend (always do when I go out of town).  Lots of junk food.  Hope to be home for awhile.

Yes, I count calories...and carbohydrates, sugars and undesirable fats.

Not really... Although I do check out the health labels of foods at the store, and given a choice between 2 products all other things being the same, I'd go with the one that has fewer calories. But caloric intake is only one thing to consider with weight-gain. Exercise is also very important for losing weight and keeping it off; not only does in burn those calories but it also increases muscle mass which in turn increases a person's metabolism (allowing them to burn calories even when not exercising at that exact moment). Also, focusing purely on the number of calories that a food has also neglects to take into account of its nutritional value. Even though oranges have a high calorie amount (compared to its mass), I still like to eat fresh oranges because the value of those calories is better; you get more nutrients per calorie from eating an orange than eating plain popcorn. Instead of counting calories, I'd rather try to cook at home and make healthy eating choices.

Good answer.  You are right.  Nutritional value is the most important, not just calories.  I watch the scale and how my clothes feel rather than calorie count.  These are more valid indicators of what is happening for me and tells me when to say "Whoa" on the types of food I am eating and how frequently I am eating it.  Then I have to check how often I am eating out of boredom and not paying much attention to the type of food I am eating.

I usually do but I'm not currently counting calories, I'm just being careful with my portions and the kinds of foods I eat, which I have to admit for these past couple of weeks hasn't been the best.
