My cat's sick!

Splat, named from forensics files blood splatter evidence in which she walked into the house soaked from rain, her fur is a multicolor of browns, blacks, red, yellow, orange, whites, gold's. May, 21 she vomited & I freaked cuz it was past hours after she'd eaten & it wasn't a simple hair *bleep*! $600+ later at the vet they tell me her kidneys don't look good, Pancreas inflame, other parts are slightly enlarged! She's eating but not gaining weight! She wants to live but her body's not following directions! I don't know what to do & all I can do is just cry!😢

It wasn't long ago when we went through something similar with our beloved cat.   It's a sad fact but true that we  normally outlive our pets.   I know the struggle & grief you're experiencing as I'm sure many here on the boards understand.   The only thing I  knew to do was to make  her last days as comfortable as possible.   I stayed by her side basically for 24 hours a day.  Petting her and just generally loving her.   I gave her small bites of real tuna, I even let her drink small amounts of milk.  I did everything I knew to do to make her comfortable and feel loved.   Will keep good thoughts for you as you go through this.

I can't imagine the sadness you're feeling and I wish you and Splat the best of luck in finding a positive solution. Like Michele said above, make Splat as comfy as possible and perhaps the vet will be able to resolve this issue from blood tests or perhaps from past experience.

Cry if you need to.  All pet lovers understand your pain.  If the news is that bad, the best thing you can do for your baby is to make her as comfortable as possible and watch for any signs she's worsening.  She'll let you know when it's time and when that time comes, although it will break your heart - the most loving thing you can do for her is to let her go in peace.  I wish you and Splat well.

I feel your pain. I am in similar situation. My cat is 15 years old and he is on the decline (kidneys and diabetes). I mean 15 years I have had him, almost half my life! I cannot imagine life without him and it breaks my heart. I hope Splat improves and you have more time together.

Hello to Tranticia44 and to everyone else out there in Fusion Cash World

I am sorry to hear that your cat got sick.  Wow!  That's a rough one. 

Well, I can tell you is that only God knows your pain and how you feel.  What I mean to say is that I, too, at one time when I was single and living at home.........experienced some kitties getting sick on me and they were not even mine!  And, I prayed and asked God to heal them and they died.

Anyways, God knows what he does and not to downplay the pain that you are going through right now, but may God's will be done in this situation.

Also, you can give your cat to God by praying for her and or for him and ask God to heal your cat and to give you wisdom in knowing what to do to save your cat's life.

God is a God of mercy and love and he loves you very much and he even cares about your cat,and the only reason I say that is because He is the giver of life, and not death.

Yes, we all die, but that is because we are "fallen, sinful mankind" and because of the fact that Eve disobeyed God in the garden of Eden.........

Anyways, all I can say is, "Ask Jesus to come into your heart and let him comfort you during this painful time in your live and get together with other believers and let God help you not only now, but throughout your life.

God has a plan and a purpose for your life and that is for you to get to know him now in this life and then later on in eternity in Heaven.

"God has prepared and is preparing a place for all those who love him." 

In Conclusion, I had another kitty who died and one d(when I was single and living at home)  this young man came on the bus and he started sharing about Jesus to everyone on the bus and he even shared Jesus with me and he told me without me telling him anything (to my recollection) that my kitty Snowball who had died had gone to heaven!

And that brought "peace to me.:"

It brought peace to me because I knew that Jesus was taking care of my Snowball!

Oh dear, I am sorry to hear that. My mom just lost her dog and cat but they were both very, very old and they grew up together. All we can really hope for is a long healthy life, to be loved, and have the opportunity to love also. My mom's dog loved to spend time in the garden. She would just lay there in the sun, taking in the warm rays and listening to the birdies. Then one day my mom went out to see where the dog had gotten to and sadly, she had passed away in her favorite sunny spot. The vet might be able to give her some medications to help her organs work more effectively. In the meantime you can be there for her to show her you love her.
