Last week of School

So this week is the last week of school for my boys. The school year seem like it went by so fast, but I am glad school is out. During the summer it gives parents a break from getting up early in the morning and getting the children up for school. I am also looking forward to spending time with them. I have a lot of activities planned to keep them busy.

Yep, my kids finished school this past week, at Tuesday lunch time. Both my kids did really well throughout the year, my youngest son got straight A's for every grade in every quarter. My oldest son has just completed the grade ahead in Math and so I hope he can keep the dedication up. This is quite an accomplishment because he is also a two time State Champion in Wrestling, his younger brother is a two time second placer at State. There's gonna come a time when they are in the same weight group competing for the same medal! God help me!

Tomorrow is the last day here the kids are really excited about that.  Me too I will be able to leave later going to work.

Yes..most kids finish school today. So it'll be great with less traffic during morning and afternoon commutes.

Geez I remember those last days of school, felt better than Hanukkah! Problem is though, the Summer flies right by. It won't be long before back to school sales start, so I hope the kids enjoy their brief time off. You only get to be a kid once, I think its a shame society robs kids of their best and carefree years.

My sons last day was yesterday.  I am glad I do not have to get up as early but I still have to get up.  At least we are not rushing to the bus stop
