Receipts

I save for about a month, only because I am a secret shopper and I need them as proof of purchase sometimes.  Once I get paid on them I throw them out.   I didn't know about these apps where you can scan and get paid, I definitely want to look into that!  What are all the names, I guess I can read back through this and get the 3 listed.

No I dont save grocery receipts unless there's a coupon attached to it. Or if I think I might return something.

I only save my Walmart Receipts long enough to scan them into my Savings Catcher App on my phone.  My balance at the moment is at $22 which can be redeemed on an e gift certificate which can be used in the store.

I save most of my receipts. Sometimes I save grocery receipts but not usually. I do save all my other receipts to other places.

I check over them right after I go shopping then I throw it away the same day.

I keep mine because I want to keep track of what I spend and to see what I'm spending the money on that I could do without.

I have been able to cut my bill by $25 a month by doing this. It doesn't sound like much, but I can only get to the stores once a month, so it is a lot of money to me.

Sometimes they have contests on them so i save them. I also save them because when tax time does come around its important you can prove where your money is going

Yes I do, because of tracking what I buy and the expenses.

Yes because you never know when you might need one.  Eventually I do shred them and put in recycling, are you "Green" with envy

I save my receipts for about 1 month and then through them away.
