Not including your own wedding...do people enjoy going to weddings? What about if you don't know a lot of folks - do you socialize/dance or just sit/relax? I find it interesting to see the different dynamics that occur at weddings...

Actually enjoy going to other weddings more than own.  I really can only remember arriving to the hall, toast and first dance - the rest a blur.  Always have a great time socializing at weddings, so full of enthusiasm and hope in the air...

If it is a Polynesian Wedding I will enjoy it because there will be tons and tons of varieties of food. There will be entertainment too. Not to say that other weddings are not important but the ones that I go to are usually a lot of fun.

It's weird, but I have been to a wedding in years. There seemed to be a time when there were weddings every weekend. I guess I am at an age where it doesnt happen as often. I did like going. I always thought they were fun, especially if open bar!

The last wedding I went to was in March 2012. It was a friend of mine who I had known since 1st grade. It was a little bittersweet for me since her and her husband were leaving for Fort Hood in a few days after. I actually felt tired at her wedding. I had helped her with things leading up to that point and then when her family got into town she didn't really need me anymore, which sucked a little.

I used to enjoy weddings, but now they make me sad because I have become aware that nowadays, more marriages end in divorce than last until at least one spouse dies.

I like a nice wedding.  Everyone's so positive and happy.  I enjoy visiting with people I don't know...and eating...always enjoy eating.

I have never been to a lot of weddings, but the ones that I have gone to I usually just relax and enjoy the music and the food.

 :star:   I enjoy going to weddings, it seems like it is the only time we see a lot of the family.  We always have a good time, visiting, dancing. eating.  (The other time is at funerals, so that is a bummer!)

Hello to everyone out there in Fusion Cash World

I love attending weddings.  But, the last one I remember attending that I really enjoyed was my friend Julie's wedding.
This happened when I was single and liiving at home.

I went with my friend Mark.......and yes, we both socialized with everyone and we even got out on the dance floor and danced to the song of "Tequila!'

Yep, it sure was fun!

And, Julie made a beautiful bride!

I always enjoy going to weddings... as long as the food is good, and the music is good, you're guaranteed a good time!
