Shampoo advice
« on: April 23, 2016, 11:25:49 am »
Anyone have personal experience with shampoos that help build hair. i am shedding terribly and want to use something that wont contribute to the problem and might actually reduce the problem . Would love to know if anyone has a brand that does this! Thanks!

I got about 3 different kinds of shampoo and the conditioners that match, I have a vitamin, herbal for strengthening the scalp than with shine and a thickener for the hair shaft.  But you need to go the doc's and get a physical. Maybe electricity comb and scalp stimulation would help.

The makers of Clairol now have a new shampoo on the market that has no parabens, no silicone and no mineral oil - it's called Hair Food. I have been using it for a while now and find it to be excellent.  You might want to give it a try.  Good Luck!!

There's a shampoo and conditioner by Avalon Organics called Biotin B-Complex Therapy. A lot of people use it for shedding/mild hair loss. I think you can find it in just about any grocery store. I got a bottle of the conditioner to see if it would help with hair growth since my hair grows at a snail's pace.

If possible, whatever your hair type, be wary of sodium laureth sulphate and sodium lauryl sulphate based shampoos; I avoid them like the plague.
