I love snow days! I loved them when I was a kid and love the feeling of being forced to stay home! When I was a kid I would make a few hundred dollars shoveling driveways. Now I help shovel the older folks out in out neighborhood for free. Our last snow storm dumped a few feet on us (in Colorado) in a very short amount of time and continued to snow for twenty four hours. The day time job closed their campus for the first time in twelve years! I bought a jeep last fall (fifty year old jeep) and tried to make it home in two wheel drive. I made it all the way to my street and got stuck. So I hopped out, locked my hubs, put it in four wheel drive for the first time and took twenty five minutes cruising around the neighborhood like a kid with a new toy!

It must be hard on the kids not been able to attend school to see and play with their friends.  Things should be getting better in Houston by now.

Hopefully things are a bit better for you, but yes it is hard for the kids to nogt be able to get out of the house when snow storms come around this area the kids get restless, but hopefully for you guys things are better now and the kids will be able to go out and burn all the energy
