Do you Shop On Black Friday for Christmas?

  Saving money is saving money...it does not matter the time of the year! Good savings are also available the day after Christmas, on December 26th. Gifts sets go 50% off regular prices at Kmart, Walmart, Fred Meyer and may other stores around the country. So, go shopping...have some fun and save!

Last year my husband was working in central California. My child and I went out there for the Thanksgiving holiday. We got up at 3 am to take advantage of the sales on Black Friday. We had a plan as to the stores we were going to visit and the items we planned to purchase. In my opinion it was well worth it! We completed our Christmas shopping that day and got a lot of items people wanted that we would not have been able to afford any other time of the year. My husband got a new laptop for $699 that was regularly $1599! That right there was a good enough reason for me to get up before the sun! We have done Black Friday for many years and I plan to do it agan this year. I have learned to ignore the idiots who act like they own the stores and act like wild bafoons. My advice is to get your game plan together BEFORE you head out shopping. Be prepared to wait in a few lines until the doors of the stores open. If you have to have something make it a priority to get to the store early to be one of the first in line. The discounts and freebies are worth it to me!

I would love to shop on black friday and enjoy the madness!! Unfortunatley i have to work on black friday its the WORST!!

I went last year, but I doubt I do that again!! People acted as if their life was going to end if they werent first for something. LOL I got hit 3 times by one person and her damn cart!! Come on. Rats in a maze is what it seemed to be.

I did that once and it was enough for me.  Never again.  Its not worth getting thru the maze of people.  I do most of my shopping online and avoid all of the chaos.

After seeing how crazy people can get on TV I won't go out on Black Friday.

I didn't shop last year because of money problem but this year I learned to save up. I'm going out on black friday to but a few things for special people in my life and to see the chaos of people shopping and going from store to store.

The past couple years I have had jobs that require me to work Black Friday - yeah retail - so I havent been able to shop on Black Friday, but I can definitely vouch for the crazy people   
If I stay at my current job I will have that day off though so I may brave the crowd for the deals.

No way!  My mom braved it last year and got my sister the same digital camera I got my daughter and she got it for a whole 10 dollars less.  And two people in our area died! they were trampled to death!!  the croud of people was even trying to climb over the paramedics that came to try to help the victims!  insane...
