Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

First weekend in awhile where I didn't have much homework, we took the kiddos the a carnival and grilled, now we are just going to relax and be outside most of the day.

I spent an hour shoveling twelve inches of wet, heavy snow and followed that up with an hour today with fifteen inches of snow. I walked the dogs which took twice as long as normal because no one else is shoveling their walkways. I am heading to COSTCO to pick up the weeks groceries and will spend most of the afternoon preparing meals for the next two weeks. I will probably need to spend an hour telling my son to get his homework done.  If I am lucky I may have enough time, after working for seven hours, to go see a movie. But I will be getting at least seven hours of sleep tonight ( a true luxury in my life). I guess it is kind of sad when the fun part of your weekend is getting more sleep and the amount of sleep is still less than what most people get!

I'm not doing much beyond work this weekend, but I'm going out of town during the week to see friends, so still have things to be excited about
