It's Spring!!!!!

Our forecast for today (whichever forecast we want to believe) is from  2-4," 3-5",or 4-7" of snow. We had nice warm temps all winter and now it's been a struggle to get above 50 degrees.

I think Mother Nature is playing a joke on us. Guess she has a sarcastic sense of humor.

It was warmer in january and here we are in april and it is 30 degrees . when is it going to be warm? maybe late july.

The snow doesn't surprise me. There's basically only two seasons these days: Winter and Summer.

We've had a few nice days in a row. But before that it actually got cold enough for me to use a heater. We had snow, rain, high winds. Now it's getting back to spring weather.

and snowing! Okay, well, not right now. But it is definitely strange Spring weather when we have to clean snow off the car before we go hiking... in snow boots with hats and mittens! I love Ohio weather. Happy Spring everyone!

It's snowing like crazy (not sticking anyplace) but still snowing.  The temperature is 34.  Happy spring!

Here it is April 11th and I am still waiting on spring and warm weather to get here.  I am so tired of cold weather.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless  each of you and keep you safe.

I'm glad it is spring. It's still a little cold on certain days.

One day we are nice and warm and then  the next day it is cold, and it is cold today but at least the wind is not blowing 50 miles an hour.  Spring time in the high desert here in N.M.  is not always real nice.  Some times we have the four seasons it seems like in 24 hours. Oh well better then all of the other nasty stuff that goes on in other states.

I am so excited for it to be spring! I have mowed the lawns 2 or 3 times since the season began and I have started to de-weed the borders (a thankless task but it does improve the house appeal no end). I have had some tomato seeds germinate in the house, together with zuchini seeds, a cucumber and pepper seed (only 1 of each germinated!) and I'm still hoping that some of my beans will germinate before the week is out. By the end of the month, I will transport them into the ground outside. Can't wait.
