Planning around television shows?
« on: April 06, 2016, 08:17:35 am »
Have you ever planned something around a television show if you can? If it's not on demand, or you don't have on demand?

Friday I don't have work so I'm planning on having a relaxing television day of tv show marathons.

I try to but sometime it doesn't work out like I want it to. I'm glad I have on-demand and Hulu that's how I see my shows when i can't see them on live TV.

My husband and I try to plan around on Sunday night because it's just a busy night for shows. TWD runs the exact same time as Shameless. And then it runs the same time as Ray Donovan. We usually tag team to get the girls bathed and in bed, the kitchen and dishes cleaned and the dinner table all before the show starts so we can relax and just watch al lthe shows back to back.

I have for a DVR and  watch when it is convenient  me. I have a few weeks of shows now to watch. I just prefer to be on here most of the time.

I have my favorite shows but if I miss them no problem. We can either watch by on demand or tape it on TiVo.

I do have On Demand, no DVR, but I still enjoy watching my shows live.    Most of the shows I "have" to see are on at night so my have to do's are done and I can sit and relax.

Sometimes, it's so nice to have DVR/Netflix/Etc. where you may watch shows at your leisure but every Sunday night my husband and I would stop and watch the Walking Dead together live.
