I walk up to the check the mail often. It helps a little with being more active.

Not as much as I'd like to!  My back yard is a postage stamp and my front "yard" is the sidewalk, but there are some nice parks and wetlands in the area which are only a short drive away.  When the weather is warmer (we are going to get there soon), I walk my daughter to school in the mornings.  And in the summer last year, it wasn't that uncommon for us to log in 5-10 miles on weekends while walking around at Cedar Point.

i walk in the evenings when the weather gets warmer.  To cold to do that now, but I'm hoping it will get warm soon.  The cold just makes my body hurt all over even tho I'm moving,,,  :(  Please bring on the sunshine anytime now  !!!

My brother and I walk at the State Park 5 days a week. We go 3-5 miles, depending on our motivation level...and we talk...about everything.  That's the best part.

I try to walk or jog around my neighborhood for about 10 miles a week. Sometimes it is difficult to do that much due to bad weather, but I do do it about 3 weeks out of every 4 or so.

I walk a favorite route a few times a week for about a mile. It's part trail and part sidewalk with lots of up and down hills.

Recently I've been working on the habit of doing a lap of the town I live in, for both the exercise and the fresh air.  It's about a twenty minute walk from my apartment to downtown and looping back around.  Once it's nicer (I'm in Maine so we suddenly got a cold spell again :P) I'm planning on trying some of the local hiking trails.  ;D

I try to walk every day....sometimes life interferes.

I love winter, but walking in town in the winter can be sketchy with ice etc.

I do what I can t get the exercise every day. Walking a big part of it.

In the past I would walk everyday, getting in my 10,000 steps.  I can't anymore because of other issues.

When the weather is good, like it is now, I absolutely love to take walks. It feels so much more relaxing than going to a gym, and the effort is so low impact. Plus, you can walk nearly anywhere, so it's very convenient too.

I no longer take walks in my neighborhood anymore because of street harassment unfortunately. However I do love walking on nature trails at parks with my family and going to the river walk.

Yes, especially in the spring and summer. It is so nice to be able to get out after having all the snow during the winter. We have walking trails in our community, which are nice and it's great being closed to nature!
