I return water bottles, cans, and cat food cans, and aluminum items for redemption helps pay this one yearly bill that I don't want to but must pay. I even pick them up when I find them on a walk.  ::)

I recycle everything, soda bottles, boxes, cardboard, paper, envelopes, aluminum cans. If I can, I will re-use things in my own home - such as supermarket carrier bags which I use in small trash holders, disposable water bottles which I refill with boiled, cooled water and I store them, disposable coffee cups which I wash and then re-use.  If I don't have a use for something I will put it in the recycling bin for the trash collectors.  I even try to plant dried bell pepper seeds from bell peppers I have bought from the store, although I have had very limited success with this. Never the less, I am always looking to see what I can use something for.

No I don't recycle now.  I use to when I stayed at my house all the time.  Now I live at my daughter's house during the week so I can keep her baby.

I recycle as much as possible but really only for one reason, so that there will be more room in the garbage can.  It's just an extra hassle that I would prefer not to have.

We recycle soda and beer cans and bottles by bringing them to a store's recycling center. We also recycle newspapers, plastics, and metal cans at home which are picked up once a week. We also recycle clothes and household items by donating them.

When I first moved into this neighborhood about a year ago, there was no recycling bins so we didn't recycle. The city just recently replaed everyone's trash and recycle bins so now we have one. It's crazy how many recyclabe things we were using ion a daily basis. My trash doesn't overflow and more, but my gosh.. the recycle bins that only gets collected once a week is always over flowing by collection day. I also try to reuse as many items as possible. Especially my 16 oz creamer bottles are perfect for flower vases outside and in the childrens room. Of even better when you just have a little bit of juice or milk left and don't want to keep the whole container in the fridge or don't have enough space in the cup to finish it off. I also reuse the bottles of juice one more time because I water down the kids juices. So fillin them both up and placing the back in the fridge keeps the juice lasting longer. We also like to do a lot of crafting, so we reuse a great deal of things.

We don't have a recycle plan here. the dopes. But since we don we try to use very little that can't be recycled  here or if it is cans (soda) and aluminum we take it out to my stepfathers and from there it goes to the  man who collects it and pays for it.  Anything that we can put in my compost  pile goes there. We waste very little food. If we don't eat it one day we eat left overs the next or I make it into something else. Try to spice it up sometimes. Or I make it up as a meal for my day  also and  freeze it until I get out their. so they are always getting goodies.

I recycle and fuss at my children for not paying attention to what they throw away.  I am buying a can for the bathroom for the shampoo bottles

we recycle newspapers...plastic but that's about it.  really should do more I guess but when you have a ton of things going on all the time it gets hard to do.
