what religion are you and do you go to church

Hi all!  I am a Christian and attend a warm, Bible-believing Nazarene church.  I also study the Bible through Bible Study Fellowship, to go deeper into my Faith.

I am a christian.  I pray every day however I no longer go to church.  I just find that church is too political and besides now I have so many health issues I stay home most of the time and don't go much of anywhere.

Don't have a religion... Parents didn't enforce anything to me nor my brother in terms of religion... Guess I lean more towards agnosticism, than my brother who is an atheist

I was raised to go to church and to be nice about it the whole thing just did not work for me. I am glad it did not work for me too.

I am Christian....raised Lutheran and Presbyterian...pretty close to one another.  I don't attend church as much as I should...but I pray alot and have a good relationship with God.

I was raised Baptist. I love God endlessly for his sacrifice, forgiveness, and blessings but I don't agree with the structure of the church these days. I do tune in to telechurch sometimes.  I think knowing that there is a God and living the Word is what's important instead of what church you belong to.

I'm a Christian and attend a Lutheran Church. I sing in the choir and serve on a number of committees in the church. Many of my fellow members are like family to me.

Is Jesus Christ actually God?

John 17:3, RS: “[Jesus prayed to his Father:] This is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God [“who alone art truly God,” NE], and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.” (Notice that Jesus referred not to himself but to his Father in heaven as “the only true God.”)

John 20:17, RS: “Jesus said to her [Mary Magdalene], ‘Do not hold me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” (So to the resurrected Jesus, the Father was God, just as the Father was God to Mary Magdalene. Interestingly, not once in Scripture do we find the Father addressing the Son as “my God.”)

The same reason why many decide for themselves today...

By the time Jesus came to earth, Jewish religious thinking and practices had strayed far from what was taught in the inspired Scriptures. The religious leaders of the day—the Sadducees, Pharisees, and scribes—upheld man-made traditions, putting them ahead of God’s written Word. Time and again they accused Jesus of breaking the Law because he performed miraculous cures on the Sabbath. By forcefully refuting their unscriptural teachings, Jesus challenged both their authority and their claims of having an approved standing with God. By contrast, Jesus came from a humble background and lacked their formal religious education. No wonder it was so difficult for such proud men to acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah! Such confrontations so enraged them that they “took counsel against [Jesus] that they might destroy him.”—Matthew 12:1-8, 14; 15:1-9.

My husband and I are  Jehovah's Witnesses.  We attend the Kingdom Hall every Sunday for our Public Talk and Watchtower Study.   Then we have a midweek meeting to round out our Bible study.
