I just got a got a phone call from a Ohio number 234-321-3432, the, of course, foreign speaking man told me that my Windows 10 operating system is sending messages to them. I said my system is sending messages, oh no, and then laughed at him and told him that I have heard other people have had the same problem. I guess I was a little sarcastic. He told me I was a F*****g idiot, I turned to my husband and laughed and repeated what he said and he repeated it again and hung upon me.
wow... he really said that??

I guy (Tom) that I work with at my day time job had a Nigerian scammer send him an e-mail promising millions of dollars-all my friend had to do was go through the application process. My buddy was on to this scammer from the start and played him for about six months. My friend would ask him for more documents and set up times to call back that would be at three in the morning in Nigeria. After two months my friend asked the guy to speak in pig latin because he was worried that their messages might be intercepted by people trying to steal the money-they carried out conversations in pig latin for about a month. At six months my friend typed an e-mail that said he was someone else, a friend of Tom's, and that he was responding because Tom was flying off to Nigeria to share his millions with a friend who's IP address he had traced. The scammer did not respond-ever. Amazing how many con artists there are out there.

I have had the same call! They claimed to be from Microsoft and that I need to download this system and I was young at the time and when they called I answered our house phone and my dad told him off and he said, "how much would your daughter charge for a one night stand?." Like how vulgar and disgusting. They were also foreign I think Indian. Like how do they do this?

While I do not agree with what they are doing.....I don't agree with what your dad done either.  I just don't answer phone numbers I do not know and then when I find it is spam I block that number.

That was the accent this man had too. I had a woman call a few months ago, I just told her I didn't have time for her garbage and hung up on her. But this guy was too funny. The digits in the number look really fake though, that's why I posted them 234-321, And it was an Ohio call. Probably not.

Why do the numbers look fake?  234 is an Ohio area code.  Google it.

Normally I don't answer calls when I don't recognize the number.   I got tired of the repeats so I started keeping a small whistle in my house.  I now will answer the phone and blow the whistle as loud as I can into the receiver.  Don't think it would damage anyone's ear but I smile thinking how much I may have annoyed the person.

You blow a whistle in the phone any time you do not recognize the number?  Or just after you find it to be a telemarketer?  Just curious.  There are times when people can honestly dial a wrong number.

Too funny, I block all my spam numbers so when they call they go straight to voice mail......but i never give out my personal cell number doing this, I have a free google number (if you have a gmail account you can get a free number too) and all you calls will just go to your email account ;)

How?  I have a google account and have seen this before.  I need to do that as well.

WEll it's a good thing that this guy hung up because he probably wanted to work his way to a credit card number for you. Goes toshow you that people will try anything to steal a card.

There are so many scams going on anymore. Just a few months ago my husband fell victim to a scam that cost him 800. Fake debt collectors. Luckily I was able to take care of it though it was a headache and took a few months to get it fully resolved.

I have had this call several times, but I don't remember the number it came from.I had heard of this type of call and knew it was a scam so when the person on the other end told me my computer was sending error messages,I hung up without saying anything.

I have one before too.  They told me my computer broke down.  I said "I don't have any computer so how come it broke?" and then they hang up on me. :)
