leap year babies
« on: February 26, 2016, 06:02:23 am »
a friend has a granddaughter who is a leap year baby.
she asked us if we wanted to know her real age or her age with just the leap year days.
people want to keep their youth.
they fight and resist and want to slow down the aging process.
if you are a leap year baby, you don't get as many birthday celebrations.

I think most leap year birthdays are just celebrated the day before or after when it isnt a leap year. It is neat to be born on a leap year.

My great nephew was born on February 29th.  He'll be 20 years old this year and he's had a birthday celebration every year.  That's kind of like saying kids who are born on Christmas Eve don't get birthday presents because it's Christmas.  My son was born on Christmas Eve and to this day, still celebrate his birthday on Christmas Eve and he always gets his birthday presents.

My thoughts exactly, you either celebrate your birthday the day before or the day/month after.
