owning a pool
« on: February 26, 2016, 05:42:19 am »
you can be your own pool service and clean it out yourself, I suppose.
You have to know what all is needed.
it can be costly to pay for the service.
the serviceman comes in the early morning.
you have to go with his schedule.
owning a pool is costly ...period.

Unless you have a kiddie pool. :)

We always wanted a "real" pool but the we watched the neighbor and decided it wasn't worth the time or the $$. So we planted trees instead.

I've always wanted my own pool since I was a kid! Everything comes with a price and you only live once. I suppose I'll probably wind up getting one in the next year or so provided that it isn't that much of a costly chore.

I don't see the need in my yard for a pool since I live by myself. I agree it would be expensive to keep up with maintenance etc.

We don't have a pool.  It seems like something nice to have for family and friends but since I don't swim, I don't think it is a good fit.  Anyhow, can't afford it.

It is costly, but it's also very rewarding. Being able to take a dip whenever you want is quite nice.

I don't own a pool but my sister does and she does all her maintenance on it. She does the PH balance, the skimming, tapering the lining...she does it all! She was a pool boy in her past life! lol

Eating a meal: buying the food, making the food, cleaning up afterward, suppose you can go out to eat, can be very costly 8)  Sound familiar?
