Well I enjoyed the movie, but I mistakenly understood it was going to be a Marvel movie for the family, which it was not! I took my two sons, 9 and 11, to see the movie with my husband and at times, I was totally embarrassed at some of the scenes. They were a little too much for my kids and actually me too! I wish I'd done a little more research into the movie before I went - it would have saved a few red faces!

Was kind of funny, not a movie I'd wanna see again. I know deadpool is immature in the comic & video game but I thought I'd like the movie & I really didn't to be honest. But definitely do not recommend taking children to see it. But Ryan Reynolds is a fantastic actor as is everybody else on the film.

Yeah, as everybody knows,I'm a huge comic book fan, but I had to give this one a pass given what I heard about it's "Hard R" status. It's a shame since, Deadpool seems like such an amusing character in the (admittedly) little I've seen of the character in comics.

I want to watch it but not at the theater, I will wait until it comes out on DVD. It looks good and kind of corny at the same time.

Different strokes, I guess. Not enjoying Excessive Violence,Nudity and Vulgarity does not make someone "boring" and "not fun". It's a taste issue.

I love the marvel movies, especially going with my son,  but plan on skipping this one since it is rated R

I seen it with my 17 year old son and enjoyed it since i'm also a big comic buff. It was pretty good and Ryan Reynlolds and directors/ writers hit the nail on the head in bringing this character to life and not leaving out anything that would have nerfed him. That being said it should and i believe it had been brought to movie goers attention that Deadpool was not going to be your "Antman" type of movie for younger kids. Just like any Punisher movie wouldn't be for them either but more for us adults who wants to see a comic book hero movie on an adult level. Dont worry though, i'm sure Marvel is limited to creating these types of R rated movies, Deadpool and Punisher just happen to fall into this kind of category because of how they are portrayed in the comics. Rest assure, there will be more family oriented superhero movies from Marvel than not and that is also a good thing. Have a nice day everyone!

It is "different" for sure. Not for kids! I have only talked about it with others and have not yet seen it. Dont want to ruin it for anyone here!

It seems like It is not going to be fun for the entire family especially for kids. Thanks to those who have shared your insights on the movie. What I need to be aware of if in case taking the whole family versus just for adults. I think I pretty much got the answer I am looking for in this one. Faafetai!
