Tasks not working for me

I am getting nowhere in tasks. They just don't seem to work on my computer or I just am not smart enough to figure out how to do them. Would like the extra money but I guess I will have to find it another way.

You say they're not working on your computer.  Are you getting errors or something?  I know you have to have a "Facebook" account in order to do the Tasks now.

Yes I do have Facebook but bookmarklet won't work at all I tried it on Firefox and Explorer. I tried some of the other tasks but the message says my answers are wrong. I did the best I could to figure it out and tried different times with different answers and still come up wrong. Firefox is up to date and I am using Windows 7.

yeah, we need more info... are you getting errors or are you not answering them correctly and getting dq'd from doing them ?

I get an error message when I click on bookmarklet not following directions closely or I do not get the 30 second timer.
Others disqualified for wrong aswers.

I know the Tasks you speak of, and to be honest with you, not all of them will work.  I get the same errors on quite a few of them.  What you can do is report the task to Crowd Flower by clicking on the "Help" button and then clicking on "File A Ticket."  If you tell them (explaining very clearly what the problem is) and submit the Ticket, they're normally quite generous and will pay you for attempting the Task.  Good luck!  I sure wish they WOULD fix the darn things!!

Thanks I did crowdflower on other sites and have the same problem. I actually made a list of the tasks that didn't work and concentrated on the ones that did. That helped to build my percentages of completion. I have very few tasks here though and so far none worked. I do hope they come up with a better system.
