DMA and survey jargon question
« on: February 15, 2016, 11:52:28 am »
I just took a survey that used the asked "what is your DMA?" My city was not listed so I clicked 'none of the above'.

Although it was pretty easy to deduce, I thought I would share what I learned after the fact. DMA means Designated Market Area.

I was wondering if any FusionCash Members are familiar with other terms that are common in 'Survey taking' but not regularly used in everyday life that could me mentioned here?

Thank you!

Thanks for posting. I learned something and, interestingly, I work in market research recruiting focus groups. I have been with my company since 1990 and I have never heard DMA used but if I do, I will now understand what it means.
