I actually work at a local pizzeria and had a couple people call asking if we were running any specials for National Pizza Day. Unfortunately, the owners weren't running any specials, but it would have been a big hit if they did!

I am happy to hear that because I really love pizza especially from this independent pizzeria in our town.  They have really good pizza and these awesome garlic knots.

I can't believe I missed National Pizza Day! I love pizza. I have it at least once a week, sometimes twice. OR more. BBQ chicken is one of my favorites.

Well we got pizza yesterday - missed National Pizza Day by one day.  My two sons wanted to try anchovies so we put them on half.  They both eat sardines but only one of them liked the anchovies.  I say yuck.  Now the one son is eating part of the leftovers from my part of the pizza lol because he doesn't want the side with the anchovies.  He said even if you pull them off it still tastes like them.

I didn't know there was such a day. I love pizza.
I don't need a reason to eat it. I enjoy it. It has pretty
much become one of my favorite dishes. I just wish it
wasn't so fattening. It could also be a little cheaper.
