I entered a contest on another site.
I put a vote in for the Panthers.
The votes for both teams were pretty much evenly distributed.

My team did not go to the superbowl, but I did want Carolina to win.  I like Denver so it was ok.

I don't have a favorite team but enjoy watching some football ....the SuperBowl game is fun to watch to me no matter which teams play.  I watched with a group of friends last night.

I agree -- "My Team" wasn't playing, but I was hoping for a Denver win as between them and Carolina.  Denver beat my team (Pittsburgh) in the playoffs; so I am happy to say that my team lost to the ultimate champion and in a game where there very well could have won.
