I got my body pillow and I was past the age to be pregnant.  Some nights I lay all over it and snuggle it, other nights I don't seem to want much to do with it.  It just depends.  But I really like having one.
I will suggest one for someone newly separated and used to sleeping with another person.  They are very helpful in this situation.

Hubby likes to use pillows to support his belly and sides. Me I prefer nothing in bed with  me but a thin pillow for my head. I have tried several ways but everything ends up on the floor. Hubby and I even sleep in differant  beds as I can't stand for someone to be hogging all the bed. He also kicks in bed and sometimes it hurts. Also he is up and down all night long and will wake me up with the slightest noise. Guess I spent too many years being single and sleeping alone. I don't know. He keeps suggesting different pillows  for me to try. But why when they all end up on the floor.

I don't have a body pillow, and I never did have one. I wonder how much I would benefit from one.

I need new pillows.  Sleeping with a pillow between my legs has saved my back.  I'm going to check out pillows next time I'm in town

I used a pillow between my knees when pregnant and one under my top arm while I laid on my side with my bottom arm behind me.  It was so comfortable that I still sleep in that position..youngest child is now 25!

My husband uses multiple pillows in bed....I may look into a body pillow to get rid of a few of his 6-7 pillows......might give us a bit more room in the bed!

I never used a body pillow while pregnant... however I did use a standard size pillow between my knees as others have mentioned.  I wouldn't object to using one.  My husband would probably appreciate it because I'm always using him as my pillow and he's a furnace. My daughter gave my son a star wars themed body pillow for Christmas.  He loves the thing although he's using it as a neck pillow.  I just wish it was a pillow case rather whole pillow - can't exactly wash the thing easily.

They are great when you are pregnant. Been there and they do help with your sleep. Tossing and turning with a big belly can be no fun.
