Recording when it is possible. I hate hate hate live tv. The commercials are JUNK and they play the same ones over and over and over... Commercial breaks are now closer to 4  minutes long! obscene.

I'm a huge dvr fan..since I seldom have time to sit and wait on the shows to come on real time.  with the dvr I can watch bits and pieces as I have time.

If I can see it in real time I will watch it, but many of the time there are show that come at the same time so that is where streaming is good.

50/50  for me sometimes I prefer watching it fast when its live and the other times when I just dont wanna watch commercials.

I mostly watch things that are recorded. Sometimes live but usually when something is on, I am not able to watch it.

I don't have time to watch live TV, so I DVR everything which is great so I can fast forward through the commercials lol.

I prefer to watch movies and TV shows live when they are broadcast but do stream them when I miss when my favorites are on like Downton Abbey or The Good Wife or Madam Secretary.
