Has anyone tried the free upgrade from Microsoft?  I love the windows 7  now and really don't feel like switching, what are your thoughts?

It is ok, but I still liked windows 7 the best, Took me a while to learn a lot windows 8 and now learning more with 10. some things I don't have down yet, but they do help you along the way. When I buy a new printer I will have to learn more again. But I guess a person has to learn as we go.

I haven't tried Windows 10, but I bought my boyfriend a laptop for Christmas that has Windows 10 and it seems pretty neat. The whole look of it is different and is similar to a Windows phone layout, but overall he likes it and I wouldn't mind using it myself.

I have Windows 7 as well.

Windows 10:
When I helped someone set up their default browser and go through some photos, I tried to put the photos folder on her desktop or on the task bar. It "disappeared" from view instead. "poof"
Photos are accessible on the start menu.
And still, sometimes you just want them "right there".

I still haven't done the upgrade.  I'm leery of change especially when it comes to my computer.  I'll probably get it downloaded in the near future.
Have a wonderful day!

I got a good deal on a Windows 8 laptop, so I promptly upgraded that one to Windows 10 as soon as I could. It's a big improvement on Windows 8, but I still like Windows 7 a lot better. So my main laptop which is Win 7, I have no intention of upgrading.
One thing I have about Windows 10 is that it updates automatically, and you can't stop it or postpone it. That is bad for me, because I have limited data with my internet plan, and I can't prevent it from using it all up in one shot.

My laptop has Windows 7 and I have no plans on upgrading it. Considering how much 8 infuriated me I doubt I'll like 10 any better.

I updated to Windows 10 and I haven't had any problems. To me it's like using Windows 8. I waited a few weeks after it came out to make sure there weren't any bugs.
