Broken Bones
« on: January 09, 2016, 02:51:03 pm »
Did you ever break a bone?  My niece (31) just broke her nose.  This is gross, she was playing doubles in tennis and her partner accidentally broke her nose with her tennis racket.  I guess she swung the racket back to make a play and hit her in the face by mistake.  😥

Yup, I fractured my foot about 8 years ago when I was in the garage tidying up and dropped a motorcycle jack on the top of my foot!  Although I don't remember any immediate pain, I think it was just me that panicked KNOWING it was already fractured so I didn't actually feel it until I hopped my way back in to the house yelling, "I broke my foot!  I broke my foot!"  LOL!!  Thought I was going to wind up in a cast, but now they have those wonderful "boots" that you wear instead and you can actually walk on the foot without bending it.  Heckovalot better than using crutches!!!

They didn't set it, she has a bandage of some type across the nose.  I think it just heals itself.  Aggie, how are you feeling?  I'm praying for you.

I was in a car accident, broke my arm bones, the operation I had for it cause me not to have a cast, kids told me that I was gypped. I had pain in it for 10 years. Typing helped with the pain still not strong.

I broke my left arm when I was 4 years old.  I broke my right leg when I was 13. And I broke my right arm when I was 55.  One leg to go, and I will try to avoid breaking that one.

I broke my pinkie finger when I was in high school.  I broke it while on a church youth group trip to Arnold's Park, IA.

My boyfriend and I were in the Fun House and riding the sugar bowl when I broke it.

I hope she heals quickly.  Broken bones are not fun at all.  I had my ankle, wrist, rib and cheek bone broken in a car accident.  When my son was about a year old he was sitting in my lap, slammed his head backwards and promptly broke my nose.  That was actually the worst of all of the broken bones.

I only had a hairline fracture in my right index finger. I don't do well with pain so it was basically torture for me 😂
