If you had a choice to live anywhere. Would you choose to live in a small town or a big city?

I have done both and liked them both.  Now that I have my 6 kids, we live just outside of the city - but we are not full blown country either..hee hee
and I wouldn't have it any other way!!!  Sooo much better than being in the city with the kids.  We have room to explore, have fun, and live without the fear
and danger of the city!   8)

small town, I grew up in a small town and hated it, moved to the big city and now that I have a family I miss the small town setting and want to move back so bad

I've done both and I prefer the city just for the purpose of not having so many people know your business lol Rumor mills run strong in small towns!

I have also lived in both small town and big city. Places that are small towns are nice if u have family and like a settled life. The big city is nice for the less settled and always on the move people and would even venture to say younger people in early 20,s. I live in city but long for small town atomosphere.

Always lived in the country. I would like to live closer to the city but not in the city to save gas more than we do with our hybrid car.

Well, I grew up in  a big city and now live in a small town.  I miss the "big city life"  at times, but I enjoy the simplicity of the small city.

I lived in big cities until folks got older and needed me close to home. When I was in the city and visited the folks back home, I enjoyed the country very much. Loved it! Now I sometimes miss the city and some of the great jobs I had and people I knew. I also thought the further I lived in the country, the better I'd like it, and believe me my place was in the backwoods. I lived there about a year.  Too lonesome! :binkybaby:

I prefer the big city. But in a big city you don't really get to meet people like you could in a small town. People in a big city are always about their business.
