When do you take your tree down?

I undecorate in the house on January 1st or 2nd. But we leave our exterior Christmas lights on longer.  I always leave my Santa shower curtain up for several months...just because I like it.

We have no particular time to put it up or take it down.  We have not had much in the way of Christmas for the last three years - our tree is just a small tabletop that we put on the front of the fireplace and it is still there.  I guess it will stay there until my younger son takes it down and puts it away.  Happy New year all !

I usually take out my xmas tree about 2nd of January.

My grandmother and I traditionally dismantle the tree on January 1st. We absolutely love ringing in the new year with the tree, and then taking it down immediately thereafter. Unfortunately, she burdens the tree with several ornaments, many of which are super small. So it takes more than a minute to remove everything prior to addressing the tree, LOL.

We put the tree up on my sons birthday Dec 9th and take the tree down on my daughters birthday Jan 2nd.

I finally took our tree down yesterday.  What a chore!  That little Charlie Brown Christmas tree took me almost 5 minutes to take down and put away!

I just took mine down yesterday (1/3/16), but I/we usually take it down New Years day. I don't know why. It's a tradition...By the way, Happy New Years, every one.

    I never take my Christmas tree down! All my Christmas trees are in the forest...and alive!

New Year's Day. We take down the tree and all the Christmas decorations and then give the house a good cleaning. It's a great way to start the new year.
