A good work out
« on: December 26, 2015, 11:27:41 am »
Last week I spent 5 days at the gym. I spent seventy minutes on the treadmill. The goal was to burn one thousand calories a day which I did. when I got home I took a nice  shower. I slept like a baby.

I used to have gym membership but I quit using it because I only went there 2-3 days... Probably the best thing since in the fall semester I was busy doing my senior project. Was thinking of going to a very close gym that cost $10.. But I have weights and a cardio bike at home

That's they best feeling! I usually get on the elliptical for 1.5 hours, then I go home and take a hot shower. Such a good feeling.

I used to go to the gym several years ago, but after I lost my job I cut it out to save money, and never went back even when I got another job. Now I don't feel up to working out, I have a lot of digestive issues, and never have the energy.

I go to the gym twice a week. it is a combo of cardio and weight training. on the other days I work out at home.however because of the holidays I haven't have worked out at home that much.
I really feel the difference in my ability to get around. I have to get back in my routine this week :peace: :santa:

My New Years resolution is going to exercise more. Maybe if I do it regularly I will join a gym.

I exercise 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes or maybe even an hour, using my treadmill and a Weider total body gym at home. I love to exercise. I been exercising since I can remember. When my youngest son was only 10 years old, I had him exercise with me as well, he's  now 23 and he cant seem to take a break with out doing any exercise. He enjoys exercising 5 times a week for an hour or two.

congrats on your great workout.  Maybe I should re-purpose my clothes rack (former Pilates machine) and start daily again

Congratulations!  I admire anyone with the tenacity and self will power it takes to exercise regularly and reach their goals. YOu GO!  My husband and I started zumbaing last summer and were doing quite well - did it every night for about 45 minutes.  Then he got hurt (unrelated to zumba) and when he quit zumbaing, so did I and man, we can both tell the difference in agility, weight and well being.  As soon as the doc says okay, we will start again.  So, be proud and keep at it!
