Not over for us yet. We have a couple of families that went to in-laws for Christmas, so we will exchange gifts when they get back next year.

I do not get why people cry and complain about Christmas if you do not want to participate or celebrate then don't.

I'm not glad it's over. I look forward to spending time with family I haven't seen in a long time. One of my nieces came from Spain, another from Chicago, and my nephew came from North Carolina. Don't know when I'll be able to see them again, so no I'm not glad.

This is what I mean, if people actually knew anything about Christmas it is NOT over, it is just beginning.  I learned that in church on Christmas day.  Do you know that a lot of people don't even know the 3 gifts Jesus got from the wise men? :o  Of course it is gold, frankincense, and myrrh, which inspires a lot of people to have a 3 gift Christmas for their families.  Hey Jesus got 3 gifts why should you get more from any person :highfive:  It also saves time and money 8)

I am.  It's a nice holiday but it gets harder to find joy in it.

It takes so long to get here and then bam...it's over so fast.  I think next Christmas I'm going to find some new traditions & try to make it last ALL month.....

I am glad it got here but would like to have the actual celebration last longer.  It is the prep work that exhausts me but once Christmas is here, I love all the good food and hearing from good friends.  Also, people are so friendly this time of year I would love to have this continue! Wouldn't you?

I enjoy being with family and watching the children enjoy their gifts, but I am glad itis over.  See ya next year, only if the Lord's will.

I feel like such a grinch saying it- BUT YES!! I usually enjoy the holidays so much, but this year money was tight, and they adds stress to just about everything. Combine that with family members having conflicting schedules and freezing weather and yeah it was a rough one. The one thing I can say for it though was that it gave me one more opportunity to crush everyone in my neighborhood at the decoration contest. I DONT LOOSE when it comes to spreading youltide glee! I've got over $5,000 worth of retina burning festivities going down right now!!! HA.HA! That's what my Christmas is about- creating that "holy *bleep*, he's putting up more lights" vibe in the air! My house was the reason the short bus had to be re-routed every December- that's right, the epileptic kids kept going into seizures seeing MY Santa with 50,000 watts powering that familiar old face and 3 Marshall stacks supplying enough HOHOHO decibalige to play Yankee God damn stadium! Ahhhh yeah, my Christmas deorations will simultaneously make you scream with glee and curse the soul who supplied Rudolph with enough nose candy (power) that cherry red honker burns with the intensity of a thousand suns. Just don't stare too long- after admiring the decorations for a minute or two your eyes will begin to itch and dry out. Thats cause in my house, there's a 30 second suggestion so as to avoid retina combustion.
