Well, I've already been to see it, twice! We were supposed to go with our friends but they were busy the first weekend and we couldn't wait, so we went to our local little theater and I must say, it was fantastic! Then we went with our friends to see it in 3D which was totally awesome! I won't give out any spoilers but it was one of the better Star Wars movies with some funny parts and cute parts, obviously the light saber scenes were spectacular and I loved the new little robot, BB8 I think his name was.

Like I said before I haven't seen it yet but I already love BB-8. I got one of those BB-8 pop figurines a few weeks ago and it's one of my favorite Star Wars items.

I really enjoyed it. I went with my man and his son and we had a good time.

My daughters fiance is a Star Wars nut and he saw it the day before it was released, but I haven't heard him say anything about it either way. He hasn't posted positive or negative feedback. He is a major fan, has the costume to prove it. It must have been good though or he probably would have mentioned it.

I didn't see the movie yet, but my daughter and grandson went to see it.  They both said that it was good and my grandson wants to see the first Star Wars movie now.

We were able to get tickets for 11pm tonight. It was the only show that had two seats together this weekend.

I just saw it yesterday as Imax 3D -- great way to see it. I too thought it was very good, much more similar to the original 4-6 movies. However I also noticed a bunch of plot holes and other bits of "movie magic" that may mean that the writing wasn't quite as tight (controlled / edited) as I was expecting. I'm just glad that I didn't really notice these tings while I was watching, but rather after I had a chance to review what I had just watched so I wasn't distracted by them while I was watching.

Oh and BTW, there is another topic under Debate and Discussion in which JediJohnnie has added his input (as answer to OP's questioning about the lack of his comments).

I am not really a Star Wars fan but I know some friends of my sons who went to the opening and they have some great reviews. I think Harrison Ford was still in there and some of the old actors and they looked so different now with age and appearance. But Overall the gave it two thumbs up!

People I know who saw it liked it....but then they are trekies or they would not have seen it yet.  In our family it was tradition for my husband to take our nephew to each opening since the nephew was 5 years old.....missed this one becasue we no longer live near each other.

Went to the movie last night at 11pm. It was still a full house. Great movie. As a couple of people have mentioned there were some story lines that they will need to clear up on future sequels but nothing is perfect. Looking forward to the next one in 2017.
