How do you feel about regifting

rulesonally think that regulating is ok as long as you follow one main rule. 1. Don't accidentally  give it back to the person who gave it to you. Do you have any rules?

Yes, I agree especially if it's something another person can really use or really needs.

I think regifting is okay. Instead of keeping something you don't want or need, give it someone who could or will use it.

I tell everyone who I give a gift too, as a part of my gift is that you may regift mine. I feel my gift is good enough for their gift giving to, it would make them feel proud of giving it to their friend.

Why keep something you know you have no use for? If somebody can use then it's better to give it away.

Agree with that statement .. why keep something that you will never use when someone else can use it.

I dont regift, just because I have a small family/friends and would be nervous Id give it back to the same person, I dont remember very well.

But I do agree its a great idea if you can give to someone who can use it

Don't see why not.  Although I did get some very very hard food in a gift basket once and I wondered just how many times it was regifted not if it was.

I think it is okay to regift if you are not going to use what you were given and as long as you don't give it back to the person who gave it to you it should be okay.

Just be sure the item wasn't personalized or inscribed in some way!!  If you have something you think you will regift in the future keep a gift tag with who it came from so you can give it in a different circle ie: if from family give at work.

I have regifted a couple times.
I always feel bad doing it though.

I have no problem with regifting. It's the circle of life...lol. Just don't regift to someone you think the other person may know. ha!

I would feel kind of guilty about it but there has been a few times I've thought of doing so recently.
