Can you use fake information to complete offers?
« on: August 20, 2009, 12:29:21 pm »
I really don't like giving out my real info. I do have a spam email though, but i dont like stuff getting shipped to my address and people calling and etc.

I signed up at k7.net to get an internet voicemail number so I don't have to be bothered with any calls.

i use an old email address that i don't use
for personal use much anymore, so that my
main email account isn't bombarded...

not sure how much that helps you, since
you've already signed up with the email
you'll have to use.

but, i'm pretty sure a false address is against
the rules:  http://www.fusioncash.net/tos.php

membership requirements, second paragraph.

hope that helps!

I've never minded anything I get in the mail.  So I have to walk it from the mailbox to the recycling bin...not a big deal.  Sometimes the mail has good things in it, like $5.

You SHOULD NOT do this for one of the following reasons:

1.) If you put a "fake" cell phone number for a subscription, that could be someone's REAL number, and they will be charged for something they didn't sign up for, and if they find out who did it, I don't think they will be very happy...

2.) If you put a "fake" address, whatever you ordered could be shipped to that address if it happens to be real, and the person might be charged on the spot for whatever you ordered.

3.) It is dishonest, and if caught, will be banned from FusionCash.

I use my real address, but I also use k7.net for a voicemail number where I can check the messages there if I need to.

It's a violation of the Terms of Service to use false information on any advertiser offer (or on FusionCash).  You can lose your account and earnings.

They usually don't mail to your mailing address, but if you give them you home or cell phone number then you will be getting non-stop calls form advertisers. So it is a good idea to get voicemail number from k7.net

I would not do that as well..I like getting mails as in coupons and promotion code or general information..which are useful indeed.
About phone calls...whenever possible i dont give out my cell number.
