Did you know this?
« on: December 10, 2015, 04:00:52 pm »
Alright I am grasping, because I am suffering with tendinitis right now and don't want to stop making money online to wait for it to heal. I even bought a table to fit along side, so I can switch to using my mouse with my left hand (which is clumsy).

Well today I finally figured out that when I click the X to close a tab and I get that popup message asking if I am sure I want to close (or something similar), I do NOT need to mouse down to that message box and click the X there, then back to my tab to X that one too. All we need to do is click the X on the tab again and it closes both of them.

In the evening when I surf for credits on my favorite traffic exchange it was even worse, but I dug into my Internet fund and bought a 2 in one with a touch screen, then bought a stylus and last night I did fine doing that with my left hand too.

Anyone else have tendinitis problems?

Didn't know that.  My sister has tendinitis and bursitis.  She takes an all natural pill called doctors best msm 1500.  it's like 15$ for a months supply, 2 in the morning, 2 at night.  She said that her pain level has cut almost in half since she started taking it.  Might be worth a shot to try it? Hope you heal quickly sir!

I knew about not clicking on the pop-up box and closing the page with the X.  I didn't realize it was something notable. The one and ONLY time I clicked on a pop-up, I got something like 16 viruses on my computer, all at once.
So I never, ever, click on a pop-up. Lesson learned. :)

For the tendinitis, I wear finger-less gloves that support my wrists when I'm on the computer. Also glucosomine
helps.

I don't have tendinitis, arthritis or any other itis for that matter.  But I do know that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.  When there's a will, there's a way.

I can't think of any other catch phrases at the moment but I think you get the idea.

One of my friends has tendinitis, and he's constantly on the computer as he writes professionally. I know that he uses the Dragon speak-to-text software and he enjoys that. However since TEs and PTCs tend to do more clicking than writing, I'm not sure how well that would work for you.

I knew about double clicking on the "X" to leave the annoying pages with those pop-ups.  I, too, use a Pop-up blocker and never have any problems with pop-ups.  Since I've been typing since I was in high school, I've never had problems like Tendinitis or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  I think many people who have these problems don't hold their hands properly on the keyboard.  The bottom part of your palm and wrists should always be raised away from the keyboard, not leaning ON the keyboard.  Since I learned these techniques in school when I was learning how to type and have followed them all my life, I sincerely believe it's helped in avoiding those types of problems.  I hope you're feeling better soon!!!

Sad but true. There are a lot of people with hands and arms problems. Try your best any way you can.
