I did end up getting a good bundle package recently.  I was wanting to upgrade my internet speed and I found out that if I upgraded my internet, I would be eligible for a free landline for one year.  So we now have a landline that we don't use but it is free in addition to getting a little cheaper rate for my cable TV and internet, also.

I've also learned to think about purchases of large, bulk packages too. Although buying the large "Family Pack" will save money over buying several "Individual Size" packages in order to get the same amount of product, there are some products that I hardly ever use anyway, so for myself buying one of the Individual Sizes will save me money than buying the Family Pack and throwing out most of it in the garbage.

There a lot of things I buy in bulk And because I only to do major shopping once a month and have a freezer I do a lot of bulk buying of meat come home and split it up into portions for 2. Then if I am having more people it is easy to grab 2 or more packs of meat. But I just hate cooking something that will last  more then a couple of days because it was a large piece of meat and I might lose some of it. I love to cook but am cheap too.  It is called waste not want not.

  When it comes to bundling I read the fine print. However, my cable company and I are on good terms so I usually throw the ad away.

I generally research and perform due diligence before making a purchase.  Rarely do I make impulse buys.  I did purchase a scooter about a year ago without performing the requisite research. It rides fine and I have gotten a years worth of driving out of it.  The savings on gas have exceeded the price I paid for it. But, had I performed the proper research, I could have bought the scooter for cheaper or gotten a brand new one. It was a lesson learned. Recently I looked at over fifteen vehicles.  I fell in love with the first vehicle I looked at. It was under priced but it was not what I wanted to pay for it so I continued to look. Six weeks later the price on the vehicle I liked dropped.  I called the owner and told him exactly what I wanted to pay for it and my reasons for the price. The seller accepted my offer and I picked up a classic for about $6,000.00 under value.
