Have you ever built a gingerbread house?

I used to make them with preschoolers using milk cartons and graham crackers The frosting does need to be thick and you have to give it time to harden.
My friend has had some success with a gingerbeard kit.
I haven't tried them tough
when I was little my auant always sent us a gingerbeard house for Christmas. it was always fun to eat it.

Yes, my sisters and I did one year. It was fun but a little aggravating. Fun to eat as well.

I helped our daughter and granddaughters build a gingerbread house from a kit this year.

It turned out ok.....not perfect and picture worthy of a magazine, but it was fun!

Buy the kit. They make easy gingerbread house kits now which are pretty simple to put together.

Yes we built a gingerbread house - it didn't look very professional but we had a good time doing it.

the secret is keep it simple and buy additional edable frosting glue.
