What happens if you use false info?

I was just wondering if fc penalizes people who use false info.

I guess you'll get banned or something or that sort. Fc can't really confirm that you live somewhere unless they go to EVERY SINGLE MEMBER's Address and confirm that each and every member is living where he or she claims. You can't fake your telephone because they have a telephone verification. For everything else, I suppose that we will never know :O

I'm not too clear how you'd get your check with a fake address. Or how you'd cash said check with a fake name.

If you're wondering what to do if you signed up with fake info, I'd suggest just updating your profile.
I imagine FC has a lot of people sign up initially with fake info.
You might need to send them faxes or something for your first cash out, I'm not sure.

Are you asking about false info when signing up for FC? or when doing offers?  I would assume that both would be against the rules as it clearly states in TOS:

Users must provide valid information when signing up for offers. Falsifying information for offers is grounds for account or offer credit disqualification.

I would say doing either would be asking for trouble.

simply put, ur asking for trouble like the post above me
AND not only will you receive your trouble but a check wont be comin anytime soon to som1 who puts a fake name and fake address
