Caution about a Video

What kind of antivirus do you used?

Twice now, I have gotten a spammy pop up on a video that I am attempting. It tells me that my computer is infected, etc and I need to call the given phone number immediately. I am not able to do anything including quit Chrome or even put my computer to sleep. My Chrome page has frozen.

If you have a problem like that, just force quit Chrome, close your computer for a while and then go back. That has resolved my problem. But it did happen two separate times. These are one cent videos and I can not remember which ones any longer.

Has anyone else had a problem like I am describing.

Had that happen to me last week. Startled me a bit, because I had the volume on, and it had a very annoying warning beep.

I was able to close the video page and Fusion Cash.  Cleared my browser (Firefox), and immediately ran a virus scan.  No virus.

I've been using Firefox in private browsing mode since, and haven't had any more problems.

 also get this here and other sites.   I do check the box "quit showing this dialog".   I don't think FC has anything to do with it.
